We Love our Community

TeamSoft employees typically live within the vibrant neighborhoods surrounding our clients. We enjoy the benefits of strong business markets while caring deeply for the concerns of our community. We participate in a wide variety of charitable endeavors both as a company and individually. The following are a sampling of some of our more current activities:

UW American Family children's Hospital

In December 2006, TeamSoft launched a relationship with the UW American Family Children’s Hospital (UWAFCH) by assuming sponsorship of an interesting and special program called CarePages.

CarePages is a free, easy-to-use Web site that helps family and friends communicate when a child is receiving care at the Hospital. CarePages help parents create a Web meeting place where news and photos are shared. In turn, CarePages allows visitors to leave messages for the patient and family. It takes just a few minutes to create a CarePage, share it and build a community of support. Updates are automatically sent out via e-mail.

CarePages help reduce the stress and anxiety that comes with the hospital experience, and give families an emotional lift that is hard to deliver in any other way. Parents and patients receive support from family and friends during their time of need, and feel more connected to others and less separated from the world.

TeamSoft’s involvement began with the acquisition of laptop computers for the program. These laptops can be checked out by families during their stay at the hospital. Both TeamSoft and the hospital personnel are already thinking about future ways TeamSoft can help, such as providing additional learning, hobby and game software.

Wisconsin AIDS Ride, August 2-5

Tom Yates from TeamSoft is making the 300 mile, 4 day ride this year with sponsorship from TeamSoft and others. The fifth annual ACT event raises funds and awareness for AIDS Network. The goals are to provide a ride that is a substantial challenge for all levels of riders, but is at the same time fun and safe. Educate the community, raise awareness, and teach tolerance about HIV/AIDS. And finally, to raise the highest possible return to AIDS Network.

Day 1 will stretch from Madison to Baraboo by way of North Freedom. Day 2 will be a century day from Baraboo to Columbus. Day 3 will see riders heading south and west to New Glarus. Day 4 will bring crew and riders through Mt. Vernon and Mt. Horeb and to closing ceremonies on the Martin Luther King Boulevard.

We appreciate and support Tom's involvement. If you are interested, check out Tom's fundraising page.
