Wellness Program

Wellness Program

TeamSoft provides extra motivation for all our employees and families through the TeamSoft Wellness Plan focusing on Health Wellness, Financial Wellness, and Mental Wellness. All employees with health insurance, regardless if they are enrolled in the TeamSoft health plan, are eligible to participate. If an employee is on a Single health Coverage Plan, they must earn 3 Wellness Credits in six months to receive a bonus ($50) on their payroll while an employee who has Double or Family health Coverage must earn 5 Wellness Credits in six months to receive their payroll bonus ($100). To earn a wellness credit, the employee, or family member, must participate or try something new in one of our three wellness areas such as participating in a run/walk, volunteering, joining a book club, etc. If you have any questions about the program or would like to report your wellness credits, please email Human Resources at This email address is being protected from spambots. Money, or lack thereof, has a huge effect on a person’s life. TeamSoft’s pillar of Financial Wellness involves addressing this topic by helping you learn to successfully manage you and your family’s financial expenses. There are many opportunities you can do to help support your financial well-being, including scheduling a free financial planning session through Kelly Financial, shopping around for new quotes on auto/renter’s/homeowner’s insurance (contact Jason Guttenberg at This email address is being protected from spambots. These are just a few suggestions for activities that qualify for Wellness Credits. Mental Wellness includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Individuals who have a healthy mental well-being have been linked to having higher self-esteem, higher life satisfaction, closer relationship with others, and better coping mechanisms with stress and anxiety. A few opportunities you can do to help improve your Mental Wellness include volunteering, joining a yoga or meditation class, participating in a life coaching session, pursuing a new creative hobby, and many other initiatives. Staying active and eating healthy affect us more than we know. Physical health is a critical component to our overall well-being in that it helps reduce obesity and other chronic illnesses, reduce feelings of depression and anxiety, increases self-esteem, and improves blood pressure and cholesterol levels. A few activities you can partake in this area include participating in an organized run/walk, joining a new sports leagues, attending TeamSoft’s open enrollment event, attending and nutritional education course, and many other activities. Ongoing Wellness Activities

In order to help earn your wellness credits and promote overall wellness, TeamSoft has implemented two on-going wellness programs you can participate in year-round: The TeamStep 250 and the TeamSoft Sleep Challenge.

The TeamStep 250 is an active walking program established to help increase your daily physical activity that is personalized for each individual. The program requires you to wear a tracking device or pedometer to measure the number of steps you take in a day for 5 consecutive weeks. After determining your individual baseline in the first week, 250 steps will be added to your daily step average for each subsequent week. You will need to log your daily steps with the provided tracker and submit the document after the 5 weeks to Human Resources at This email address is being protected from spambots. The TeamSoft Sleep Challenge is another program implemented to help improve your overall wellbeing. Most of us know that getting a good night’s sleep is important, but too few of us actually make the commitment a priority. The TeamSoft Sleep Challenge address this issue by helping you improve the amount of sleep you get each night over the course of four consecutive weeks. Similar to the TeamStep 250, the TeamSoft Sleep Challenge requires you to establish a baseline of the amount of sleep you get for one week. After the first week, you will work on increasing the amount of sleep you get by a ½ hour for each following week. You will need to download the TeamSoft Sleep Challenge tracker and turn in the document at the end of the 4 weeks to Human Resources at This email address is being protected from spambots.
